Senior Engineer, Equipment Engineering

This role will be situated in our cleanroom class 10 Wafer Fabrication facility and the successful candidate will perform the following duties:
- Support Daily Operation of Semiconductor Manufacturing Facility with proven skills in effective problem solving, troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis
- Lead cross functional teams in a systematic approach to continuous improvement, using data driven analysis and decision making
- Drive Continuous Improvement of KPI’s of semiconductor manufacturing Equipment such as % Availability, Mean-Time-To-Repair (MTTR) & Mean-Time-Between-Failure (MTBF)
These tools offer the potential to experience a multitude of exciting aspects including Electronics, High Vacuum, Pneumatics, Pneumatics and Robotics.
Although not essential, prior experience in some of the following Equipment would be Useful.
- Applied Material Implanters & Deposition Platforms
- Axcellis implanters
- Akrion and JST Wet benches
- ASM and Aviza Furnaces
- TEL Tracks
- Nikon Steppers
- LAM Etchers
- Novellus Deposition Platforms
- Semitool, SEZ and Siconnex Wet Chemistry Platforms
This is a Monday - Friday-based role.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Education: Ordinary Bachelor’s degrees (NFQ Level 7) or Honours Bachelor’s degrees (NFQ Level 8).
- Experience: 6-10 years of experience - Maintenance Technician or Engineer, ideally coming from a highly regulated environment or an Equipment Maintenance role within the Semiconductor industry.
- Capable of demonstrating analytical troubleshooting methods (Root Cause Analysis, 8D Problem Solving, 5-why), and First Time Right repair skills.
- Able to follow preventative maintenance and Standard Work procedures.
- Analog Devices adopts a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategy. Prior experience in TPM is desirable.
