Reporting to the VP Power Electronics, the Engineering Director Power Electronics will be responsible for the development and Job 1 launch of customized products to support Flex’s xEV power electronics business.

What a typical day looks like:

• Be responsible for the development and Job 1 launch of customized products to support Flex’s xEV power electronics business;
• Implement strategies to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce;
• Establish product development process according to ASPICE;
• Prepare roadmap, market research, and customer information;
• Engage customers as a technical expert at Flex;
• Creation of the customer presentation and documentation;
• Meet regularly with engineering peers at Flex’s customers;
• Work with cross-functional technical teams;
• Collect market trends for vehicle electrification systems;
• Participate as speaker or visitor in electromobility trade fairs, congresses, exhibitions, and other events about e-mobility.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering;
• Relevant experience in similar position;
• Knowledge of simulation tools software such as Matlab, Simulink and LTspice;
• ISO26262;
• Fluent English knowledge both in written and spoken form;
• Ability to Travel is required.
