R&D Engineer, Implantable Electrodes

Your Tasks
- Develop new and optimized electrode designs for cochlear implants from the first idea to the final device in the field;
- Perform feasibility studies using prototypes manufacturing and testing;
- Define and conduct verification and validation activities;
- Perform sustaining engineering tasks for existing devices and electrode components, including qualification of second source materials and/or suppliers;
- Document all development activities within our quality system (e.g. specifications, risk management, test plans and reports).
Your Profile
- Bachelors’ degree or higher degree (University, FH) in biomedical technology, engineering or equivalent education;
- Professional experience in research and development in medical technology;
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken;
- Independent and goal-oriented approach;
- Motivation to work self-dependently, and in a team.
