R&D Engineer, Implantable Electrodes

Your Tasks

  • Develop new and optimized electrode designs for cochlear implants from the first idea to the final device in the field;
  • Perform feasibility studies using prototypes manufacturing and testing;
  • Define and conduct verification and validation activities;
  • Perform sustaining engineering tasks for existing devices and electrode components, including qualification of second source materials and/or suppliers;
  • Document all development activities within our quality system (e.g. specifications, risk management, test plans and reports).

Your Profile

  • Bachelors’ degree or higher degree (University, FH) in biomedical technology, engineering or equivalent education;
  • Professional experience in research and development in medical technology;
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken;
  • Independent and goal-oriented approach;
  • Motivation to work self-dependently, and in a team.
