You will be responsible for planning and design of building automation and work with your team to develop complex, application-specific solutions in the field of building automation and digitalization, primarily in the Data Center sectors. Furthermore, you will build and lead a new team of BIM Managers. Your role will also involve recruiting team members, setting goals, and ensuring successful project delivery. Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Independent project management of building automation in varying projects
• Planning of building automation with focus on Building Management/Environmental Monitoring Systems (BMS/EMS) for production buildings
• Planning and design of systems in all engineering project phases (concept, basic, detail engineering)
• Drafting of technical specifications and planning documents
• Planning of project budgets in cooperation with the purchasing department
• Supplier selection and coordination in the project
• Building, leading and developing a team of BIM Managers
• Adherence to budget, quality and deadline requirements within the assigned projects
• Supporting project management in the preparation and, if necessary, updating of schedules
• Coordination of subcontractors and assurance of the highest execution quality, as well as compliance with safety, health, and environmental protection requirement
• Coordination and control of the interfaces of the individual trades

Show your expertise

• Degree in automation technology, electrical engineering, technical computer science or a comparable qualification
• Extensive years' experience in operating within a BIM environment for design and construction projects
• Experience in plant project planning in the data center sector is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of network infrastructures, network configurations, network protocols (including switching, routing, wireless networks), database technologies and intelligent data processing
• Technical knowledge and understanding of project execution processes in a fast-track environment
• Extensive local construction knowledge
• Ability to mentor and motivate a team as well as experience in leadership positions within a technically challenging environment
• Excellent English skills, German skills are an advantage
• Willingness to travel to project sites within Central Europe (approximately 10 %)
