Project Engineering: Manage mechanical project engineering from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with standards and improving project efficiency;
Layout and Design: Develop and optimize arrangement layouts for metallurgical and process equipment, plant design, and piping to enhance efficiency and ease of operation and maintenance;
Equipment and Piping: Define design criteria and basic specifications for process and metallurgical equipment, including detail;
Procurement and Supplier Management: Review supplier offers, manage RFx documents, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure the best solution;
Construction and Compliance: Oversee construction, prepare for commissioning, address NCRs, ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Completed master’s degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or a comparable field;
Several years of experience in project work and system development;
Understanding of chemical or metallurgical production processes is an advantage;
Business fluent in English, German is a plus;
Very good communication skills to routinely give presentations to relevant stakeholders and external partners;
Proven solution orientation and independence;
Strong teamwork skills, experience in conflict resolution, interest in new challenges and intercultural competence;
Willingness to travel (internationally, approx. 20%) rounds off your profile.
