We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Engineering to lead our engineering team in developing cutting-edge energy storage solutions. As the Head of Engineering, you will play a crucial role in delivering revolutionary products, driving innovation, developing complex technologies and leading a talented team of engineers to deliver impactful results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all engineering activities related to the design, development, and implementation of energy storage systems;
  • Develop and execute engineering strategies aligned with business objectives and technological advancements in the energy storage industry;
  • Build and develop a team of high-performing engineers, attract top talent and nurture technical expertise;
  • Drive product development initiatives from concept to commercialization, ensuring quality, performance, and cost efficiency;
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments such as central functions, operations, project and product management to deliver integrated solutions;
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform product development strategies;
  • Champion best practices in engineering methodologies, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance;
  • Lead engineering projects with a focus on timelines, budgets, and resource allocation;
  • Develop yearly resource allocation and budgeting plan according to project pipeline and BU targets;
  • Implement best practices, improve engineering processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leadership engineering roles within the energy storage, power conversion or related industry;
  • Experience in industrialization of grid-scale Power Conversion Systems (PCS) considered as an advantage;
  • Strong technical expertise in grid-connected energy storage systems such as batteries, power conversion, grid integration, or renewable energy systems;
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing engineering teams;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels;
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement;
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the energy industry;
  • Knowledge of R&D methods and manufacturing technologies.
