We are seeking a pragmatic and experienced Project Manager to join our small team of experts, focused on advancing vehicle-integrated solar charging systems. What will you do as a Project Manager Solar Technology?

  • As a Project Manager on our team, you will be the driving force behind our vehicle-integrated solar charging projects. Your journey begins with shaping project deliverables-translating stakeholder expectations and our strategic vision into clear, actionable plans. You'll take ownership of every step, ensuring each project meets our business goals;
  • Managing the financial landscape is crucial. You'll craft precise project estimates and oversee budgets, always keeping focus on costs to ensure we deliver on time and within budget. Your financial acumen will help navigate the complexities of our innovative projects, balancing quality with cost-efficiency;
  • Your technical and business insights will guide the team, ensuring we stay on course and uphold the highest standards. You'll also be a mentor, shaping your team’s project management skills and fostering a culture where everyone is encouraged to take initiative and deliver their best work;
  • Building strong partnerships will be a key part of your role. You’ll build relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and integration across the board. Your ability to coordinate resources - both internal and external - will keep everything running smoothly, aligning our engineering, procurement, and operations efforts;
  • Communication will be your superpower, especially when navigating regulatory requirements. You’ll ensure our engineering teams stay aligned with legal standards, acting as a bridge between our innovative ideas and the regulations that guide them;
  • And finally, you’ll be a proactive problem solver, identifying and managing risks before they become issues. Your strategic foresight will keep projects on track, ensuring that we deliver groundbreaking solutions without a hitch.

What do we expect from a Project Manager Solar Technology?

By stepping into this role, you’ll be taking on a vital position that combines strategic leadership with hands-on project management, driving change and innovation in sustainable technology. In order to be successful you will have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field;
  • 5+ years of experience in Project/Program Management, preferably within the automotive and/or startup/scaleup environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, start-up environment where priorities can change rapidly;
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects under tight deadlines;
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and project management methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall);
  • Experience with obtaining and managing subsidies is highly advantageous;
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills;
  • Fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is considered a plus.
