How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

  • You are part of a dynamic and multicultural research team where you support or lead innovative projects in the field of process development, process analysis and process optimization;
  • Your focus is on the sustainable hydrogen and synthesis gas thermocatalytic production as well as on the decarbonization of industrial gases, thereby supporting in reducing our environmental footprint;
  • You work in a team of colleagues from different subject areas also using agile working methodologies (e.g. Scrum);
  • You will accompany all project planning phases of the engineering design process, starting from conceptual studies up to the realization of pilot plants and are responsible for the planning and execution of experimental test campaign and the evaluation of the data thereof;
  • You have joy in constantly enlarging your knowledge while dealing with changing topics and differing challenges;
  • Thanks to your very good communication skills, you will closely exchange with other Air Liquide entities, external customers, scientists and start-ups.

Are you a match?

  • Master's degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, technical chemistry or process engineering - ideally supplemented by a doctorate. Graduates and young professionals are welcome;
  • Broad engineering knowledge with focus on thermal conversion of various carbonaceous feedstocks and familiar with common simulation tools in the field of process development, reaction engineering and thermodynamics;
  • Conceptual thinking, high level of initiative and creativity in finding solutions;
  • First experience in project management is a plus;
  • Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory;
  • You enjoy working in international teams and thanks to your very good communication skills you promote a good cooperation within the team.
