Purpose of Your Role

The Tool Technician has responsibility for the maintenance and repair of tools on locationand in the workshop, to support the team in delivering client operations. They will operate on a team rotation basis and are integral to supporting other field engineers and well site specialists, whilst adhering to AnTech Core Values, HSE polices and legal compliance requirements. This role will require international travel and extended periods of time out of the UK, up to 60 days per trip.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Competent in assembly/disassembling of tools;
  • Competentto troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and software systems in a logical staged process;
  • Contribute to well planning preand post job includingmaintenance and servicing of equipment;
  • Assist in Rigging up, assembly and testing of all equipment and software;
  • Perform on-the-job training for new Tool Technicians;
  • Adheres at all times with AnTech Core Values, HSE polices and legal compliance requirements;
  • Continue to build upon the strong reputation AnTech has established for customer service;
  • Interact and develop good professional relationships with all co-workers in order for all of our jobs to be done effectively;
  • Able to work and deliver in challenging international environments.

Qualifications Required

  • Qualifications: Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred.

Essential Skills

  • Practical, mechanical, electrical and software aptitude, with a keen eye for detail and ability to troubleshootelectrical and mechanical systemsin a logical staged process;
  • Ability to interface between members of the team whilst working in challenging environments and under pressure;
  • Capable of contributing to cost efficient decisions;
  • Proficient computer skills (Word and Excel);
  • Proficient English written and verbal communication skills, other languages would be an advantage;
  • Willingness to continually develop knowledge and expertise.
