Description:
We are looking for a Product Manager to manage and guide teams in solving both common and complex business challenges. This role involves leading cross-functional program teams, delivering professional reports, developing schedules, budgets, and resource plans, and tracking progress against established plans. You will also identify risks, create mitigation plans, and report to executive management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive the development and implementation of products or services;
- Manage projects of moderate to high complexity, ensuring timely delivery of reports and plans;
- Understand and apply technical concepts to accelerate project completion;
- Oversee the deployment and continuous improvement of new technologies and processes;
- Develop and manage schedules, budgets, and resource plans in collaboration with internal and external teams;
- Communicate progress, escalate issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve problems;
- Lead bug tracking and report program risks and status to executive management;
- Solve complex problems with creative solutions and provide guidance to less-experienced staff members.
Education & Experience:
- A four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence;
- Typically, 4-7 years of work experience in engineering development and implementation, project planning tools and software packages, people management, or a related field, or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
Preferred Certifications:
- PMP or Lean Six Sigma certificate.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Engineering Product Management: Expertise in managing the lifecycle of engineering products from concept to launch;
- Project Management: Proficiency in managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring; planning and managing sprints in an Agile environment;
- Risk Management: Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure project success;
- Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively; proficiency in English;
- Continuous Learning: Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development;
- Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in work;
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for creating reports and presentations.
