Our Estonia Tallinn based Test Technology, Test Hardware Development Electronics Design department is looking for an Electronics Design Engineer yo join our multi-disciplinary team to enable to develop the electronics and FW for production test systems. The designed test equipment will enable the efficient and robust production test for Ericsson commercial products.
Please note, this full-time position will be based at our Tallinn Estonia NPI site.
What you will do
- Development of embedded software and firmware for FPGAs, CPLDs and microprocessors;
- Design analogue & digital electronic circuitry used for the testing of digital and radio products, PCB footprint and layout design;
- Write specifications and set requirements;
- Design simulation;
- Evaluate of new parts and technologies;
- Handle verification and troubleshooting of designed PCB;
- Design cabling and wiring;
- Create product and user documentation;
- Support Product Lifecycle Management.
The skills you bring
To succeed in this role, it is important you have:
- Master degree in Electronical Engineering and min 3 years experience in electronics design, embedded systems engineering or similar;
- Up-to-date knowledge of electronics components;
- Previous exposure to RF or high-speed designs;
- Experience with PCB Designer tools;
- Embedded software programming in C and other languages used in Electronics development;
- Proactive, a team player and communicator;
- Analytical thinking, conceptual work and solution orientation, seeing things through to a good result;
- Driven to achieve best results within the time planned;
- You are willing to work using agile methodology;
- Good verbal and written English.
Advantageous experience
- Knowledge of Linux or Yocto;
- Knowledge of telecommunication related electronical design;
- Knowledge of directives and standards related to CE marking;
- Soldering and prototyping skills;
- Knowledge of FPGA programming.
