Job Responsibilities

As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will work in a dedicated team on the development of hardware and power electronics for inverters for traction drives (voltages up to 1000V and currents up to 800A).

Your Responsibilities

  • Development of hardware and power electronics for inverters in the automotive industry;
  • Creation of simulation models using Matlab/Simulink/Plecs and coordination of tests for model verification;
  • Preparation, setup, and execution of development-related measurements;
  • Creation and modification of circuit diagrams, including support for PCBA design;
  • Implementation of development processes (Automotive Spice, ISO26262).

We are seeking someone who is passionate about power electronics and is ready to bring their enthusiasm and motivation to become a valuable part of our team.

Your preferred qualifications

  • Degree from a technical university (Master/PhD) in the field of electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or technical physics;
  • At least 3 years experience in the field of power electronics;
  • Understanding of complex systems consisting of mechanics, electronics, and software;
  • Strong interest in the field of power electronics;
  • First experience with MATLAB/Simulink and/or Plecs;
  • Willingness to travel within Ausria & Germany;
  • Proficient in written and spoken English;
  • German language skills highly appreciated.
