What You ‘ll Be Doing:

• Design and develop state-of-the-art Li-Ion battery systems concerning defense applications;
• Lead Li-ion battery system design, emphasizing electrical performance, thermal management and safety;
• Participate in the complete system development cycle from system design to documented release, prototype testing and evaluation;
• Choose cost-effective, reliable components and materials;
• Ensure designs meet safety and regulatory standards (e.g., UL, IEC);
• Handle integration, testing, verification of battery prototypes, iterating designs as needed;
• Maintain comprehensive design documentation;
• Compile and adherence to Firmware-Hardware Specifications in collaboration with the Embedded Software Engineers/Hardware Design Engineers to meet battery system requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required:

• Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering;
• Al least two (2) years in Li-ion battery system design;
• In-depth knowledge of Li-ion batteries technology, chemistry, and safety;
• Familiarity with power systems modelling & simulation (MATLAB, SIMULINK, P-SPICE);
• Fluent use of English language;
• Fulfilled military obligations is an asset.

Desired:

• Post-graduate Degree (MSc, PhD) on Electrical Energy will be considered an asset;
• Familiarity with battery safety and regulatory standards;
• Strong understanding of thermal control in battery systems;
• Excellent troubleshooting abilities for electrical and design challenges.
