About the role:
As a Process Engineer you will be a Process/Chemistry expert in the preparation and on-site implementation of Preventive Chemical Cleaning for Steam Generators (SG) and Liquid Waste Treatment generated by these cleaning operations.
Main Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with the Westinghouse and EDF engineering and operational teams (DIPDE, DT and NPP), you will provide your expertise on Preventive Chemical Cleaning of Steam Generators and Liquid Waste Treatment (NPGV/TEFF) operations projects by intervening throughout the different stages of the project.
- Your analytical and writing skills will allow you to take charge of documentary preparation by writing documents relating to the project: the environmental file, the adaptation note, the health and safety file and the operating procedures. You will also help prepare on-site interventions by overseeing the supplies needed. Your process knowledge skills allow you to be a source of proposals and to manage the definition/improvement of equipment and the process to be implemented as part of these operations.
- As a Process Engineering/Chemistry expert, you will help implement processes on site and you will take observation notes with the aim of continuous improvement and feedback. These implementations require travel to CNPE of the order of 20 to 30% of the time.
- You would like to get involved in an activity where Westinghouse's performance and technical expertise are recognized worldwide. A specific training course will be put in place to support you in increasing your skills in these activities.
Qualifications:
- Graduated with a Bachelor in Process Engineering/Chemistry engineer, 3 to 7 years of experience.
- You have access mandatory training to French Nuclear Power Plant (SCN, CSQ and PR).
- You are proficient in office tools.
- You have a good level of written and spoken English, which allows you to communicate with different contacts in the EMEA region but also with the group's headquarters based in the United States.
- Knowledge of the EDF environment is an additional asset.
