The key objectives for this role are:
- Be a part of a key Engineering Functional delivery team, working across multiple industry wide organisations providing varying work fronts and challenging opportunities
- Be part of a new high performing engineering delivery organisation
- Deliver process designs in FEED and EPCM projects, identify issues and propose solutions
- Undertake process studies and process design work and check work on the project as appropriate
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and produce designs and services to meet these needs
- Complete technical design work to a high standard using Wood's and Customer design methods, standards and data
- Execute process engineering activities achieving budget, schedule and maintaining technical integrity of the designs
- Develop the basis of design, undertake detailed calculations to develop the design and be responsible for accuracy
- Ensure that detail design methods, standards and data used conform with Client's requirements and/or those issued by Wood
- Prepare Process Flow Diagrams, Equipment specifications, Process Descriptions and P&IDs for review and approval
- Ensure a high standard of safety is achieved and Environmental and Quality Assurance procedures are followed
- Perform safety related calculations and provide input to Hazops, SIL and other safety reviews as directed
- Contribute where necessary to review of supplier quotations and reviews of the project 3D CAD model
- Ensure that requirements of Licensor's Secrecy Agreements are known and complied within the work performed
- Participate in technical meetings and handle discussions with client engineers
- Assist as required in the preparation of Operating Manuals

Skills And Qualifications:
Expected:
- Drive and enthusiasm for the task at hand
- Chemical Engineering Degree
- Experience of working on FEED and EPC projects for energy transition and onshore oil & gas projects
- Proven core Process Engineering skills, including up-to-date design experience
- Skilled in resolution of technical process design issues
- Readily adaptable with excellent verbal and written communication skills and good organisational awareness
- Ability to respond to customer needs whilst achieving project and corporate objectives
- Display analytical and innovation skills to support management of new technology
- Previous experience working in a project delivery environment
- A sound understanding of engineering practices, methodologies and economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications
- Strong planning, organising and execution skills
Desirable:
- Previous experience of leading a team
- Chartered Chemical Engineer status
