About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to lead our efforts in building advanced aircraft models, defining service requirements, and managing maintenance operations. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional with prior experience in business jet maintenance and operations, strong coding skills, and a passion for collaborating across teams, including attending sales meetings and engaging with customers.

Valuable member of the team your role will be:

Aircraft Modeling & Engineering

  • Develop, refine, and validate digital models of Beyond Aero's business jet concepts of operations and maintenance.
  • Leverage modeling and simulation tools to analyze aircraft performance and enhance conops.
  • Write and maintain scripts, tools, and software for engineering analyses, automation, and process improvement.
  • Work closely with product and data teams to integrate engineering solutions with existing architecture.

Service Requirements & Maintenance Oversight

  • Define and establish service and maintenance requirements for Beyond Aero’s fleet, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Oversee maintenance operations, leveraging prior hands-on experience in business jet maintenance.
  • Develop predictive and preventive maintenance processes to maximize fleet uptime.
  • Collaborate with R&D, industrialization, and certification teams to ensure a seamless transition from design to operational readiness.

Collaboration with Sales & Customers

  • Attend sales meetings to provide technical expertise and align engineering solutions with customer needs.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business development by addressing customer concerns and providing tailored solutions.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to optimize engineering processes and support customer-centric innovation.

About you

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • You have 5+ years of experience in the aviation industry, with at least 3 years in business jet maintenance operations.
  • You have proven track record of involvement in aircraft service, support, and/or maintenance strategies.
  • You have strong knowledge of aircraft systems, design principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • You are enthusiasm for attending sales and customer meetings, acting as a bridge between technical teams and business development.
  • You are autonomous, curious, and a good team player.
  • You are able to challenge existing process and your management in a spirit of continuous improvement.
  • You have an experience in a multi-cultural environment and understand international diversity.
