About The Role

As a Software Equipment Engineer, you will join our Equipment and Process department in Eindhoven. This team is dedicated to ensuring that our in-house developed production machines and R&D equipment operate efficiently 24/7 through continuous improvement.

Your main responsibilities:

• Facilitate expert teams and multidisciplinary improvement groups by translating needs into concrete designs or modifications and preparing the associated documentation for knowledge transfer;
• Manage software configuration, including version control, preparing CE dossiers, and assisting and training equipment engineers and technicians in using documentation;
• Support Process Control and Maintenance by consulting with suppliers on specific problems or failures.

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (SW);
• Preferably 3-5 years of relevant work experience;
• A basic VCA diploma (or are willing to obtain it);
• Experience in software development in the field of machine construction;
• A team player who can work independently and quality-oriented;
• Solution-oriented and proactive;
• Strong project leadership, planning and organizational skills;
• Excellent communication and social skills.
