Your mission
- Contributing to the design & development of mechanical and hydraulic systems associated with the Power Unit integration, steering, braking, fuel & cooling layouts.
- Designing appropriate test rigs and racecar installations and participate in test and validation of components.
- Produce detailed CAD models and technical drawings (CATIA v6/3DExperience advantageous) and maintain technical documentation and standards compliance.
- Liaise closely with suppliers, senior designers and other groups across the team to ensure efficient and reliable designs for the relevant systems.
- Perform systems simulations to aid the relevant designs, experience with Matlab, Amesim advantageous.
Your profile
- Minimum degree qualification in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in mechanical and/or hydraulics system design in an F1 or high-level motorsports environment.
- Understanding of system simulation & programming tools such as FEA, Matlab/Simulink, Amesim, Python.
- Professional proficiency in English for effective report communication.
- Excellent teamwork, communication & organisational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and with a keen sense of responsibility.
