Production Planning for Automation Technology:

The Control & Automation Technology team is part of the "VAN Operation Engineering" department and is responsible for planning and implementing the electrical engineering for the bodyshop, paint shop and assembly shop in Jawor. As a production planning partner, we collaborate on the rollout of the standards in the new model projects and support the live cycle of series production after the start of production. From the initial idea to implementation in the project, you can play a key role in shaping the future automation and control technology in Jawor. In addition to the projects, we support our colleagues in all VAN locations in matters of standardization and digital transformation.

We are responsible for planning of the electrical engineering for automated production systems in all shops. We link planning processes, methods and tools for agile realization of projects. As a driver of innovation, we use established and cost-efficient standards globally and thereby generate levers for efficient operation.

We are shaping the digital transformation of the production stages with sustainable technologies, networked systems and digital methods.

Scope of duties:

  • Planning and implementation of electrical engineering concepts in software and hardware for production systems;
  • Creation of invitations to tender, requirement/technical specifications and technical specifications;
  • Controlling and checking the system design in soft- and electrical hardware and/or system progress based on the technical and time specifications;
  • Preparation and execution of various acceptances based on check/defect lists and logging/controlling of the results;
  • Further development of the automation standard for the VAN division;
  • Development of innovation and optimization measures;
  • Introduction of new digital systems and tools for increasing efficiency in the planning and production process;
  • Managing projects with external and internal stakeholders;
  • Advising and qualifying specialist departments on the use of innovative standards and systems.

Qualifications

  • Degree in electrical engineering with a focus on automation technology or a comparable course of study;
  • Openness to new developments;
  • Willingness and perseverance to get to grips with new tasks;
  • Strong need for knowledge or high interest in disruptive changes;
  • Extraordinary commitment and strong team skills;
  • Proficient in English, German nice to have;
  • Confident manner and ability to convince;
  • Negotiation skills and assertiveness;
  • High willingness to travel.
