Material Compliance and Hazardous Materials Engineer

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Request, and evaluate safety data sheets with regard to prohibited and declarable substances in accordance with legal, customer-specific and Preh requirements;
- Coordinate material workflows (e.g., Raw Material Warrant) and ensure data is transferred to the ERP system;
- Manage substitutions and follow-up processes (e.g., change requests);
- Adapt and improve material compliance processes and workflows;
- Develop and deliver training on material compliance and hazardous materials to employees at all locations;
- Work with different departments to coordinate and plan training sessions.
Your Profile:
- Completed relevant training (e.g., Chemical) with experience in material compliance or hazardous materials;
- At least 2-3 years of experience in managing hazardous materials and working with raw materials;
- Strong understanding of materials such as plastics, paints, adhesives, and other raw materials, with a focus on hazardous substances;
- Fluent written and spoken English skills;
- Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP;
- Good communication skills;
- Solution-oriented;
- Initiative, proactivity and capacity to work autonomously.
