In RF Product Development organization, we develop top-of-the-class 5G and 6G RRH, mMIMO radio products. You will lead HW technology re-use and harmonization work for future proof radios with world’s best HW quality. We expect you to have a good understanding and wide experience with radio HW development but also skills for team leading and communications with senior management. You will work in a highly motivated and experienced global R&D team by surfing the highest wave of radio technology.   

Guide the RF Product development activities in key HW technology areas around the globe.

Lead the team of the global Design Area Leads to ensure unified implementation of technology.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

  • Oversee the activities for the HW technology re-use and harmonization globally;
  • Technical ownership of the design areas globally and over all the products, both in development phase and under maintenance;
  • Own the design areas evolution and development over life-time (Technology Roadmap, Relevant design area design blocks);
  • Ensure technical guidance/support for Technical Leaders in platforms;
  • Supervise definition and approval of design area WoW practices;
  • Supervise main performance indicators defined by left shift actions/or any quality improvement actions (e.g., pronto level, design re-use) and take corrective actions when necessary;
  • Support in efficient communication within global design areas;
  • Supervise definition and implementation of global quality improvement actions;
  • Supervise continuous improvement and consistent design block usage;
  • Strong sponsor of the technical guilds with Technology Development function, ensure most efficient technical/technology co-operation globally and over organizations;
  • Supervise the relevant regionalization activities from technical point-of-view.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems or similar;
  • Minimum 10 years’ post-graduation experience in RF domain;
  • Proven track record in RF HW designs and topologies;
  • Proven leadership skills in global R&D environment;
  • Solid experience in radio debugging and problem solving ;
  • Solid experience of RF/electronics measurements;
  • Knowledge of low-level SW or firmware is seen as a benefit;
  • Knowledge of telecommunications;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Effective teamwork skills;
  • Available to work in global timezones and flexible in working hours;
  • Excellent communication in English (written and spoken).
