RINA is currently recruiting for a FPGA Engineer Consultant to join its office in Milano within the Aerospace & Defence Division.
Mission
The resource will interact directly with the Engineering Manager or the “HW&FW-Airbone Sensors” Engineering Lead.
The activity is based on:
- hardware requirements acquisition and drafting the specification of the board requirements Multi Function Interface (MFI).
- Preliminary hardware design of the Multi Function Interface board which includes:
- Definition of the architecture and related block diagram;
- Definition of schemes relating to the management of local power supplies / reset / Clock;
- Design verification strategies;
- Selection of components and definition of the preliminary Part list;
- Preliminary placement of components;
- Preliminary estimate of the dissipated power.
- MFI board HW design: drafting of the part of the electrical diagram relating to the System On Chip AMD-Xilinx Zynq-US-Plus;
- MFI board HW design: drafting of the relevant electrical diagram to the implementation of the external interfaces that the board must manage.
Key Accountabilities
The reference skills include:
- Digital HW design skills
- Knowledge of HW development cycles according to RTCA/DO 254
- Skills in developing Firmware for FPGA on Xilinx and Intel platforms
- Skills in developing Test Benches in VHDL/System Verilog
- Good knowledge of Altium Designer tool
- Knowledge and familiarity with the main development tools for FPGA (VIVADO, Quartus II, QuestaSim)
Education
- Master’s Degree in Electronic/TLC Engineering
