In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the design, development, and testing of electronic hardware components, especially on the Engine Controller Unit (ECU), as integral parts of the Rocket Engine Control System.
You will collaborate closely with a diverse team of engineers (valves and pump designers, engine control engineer, GNC, Avionics…) to ensure the successful integration and operation of these critical hardware elements within our cryogenic Engine.
Key responsibilities:
- Design of the engine controller electrical architecture and PCB interfaces between main controller computer and engine subsystems, such as valves, pump inverters and sensors.
- Work closely with Avionics Team, Flight Software and Engine Control engineers to ensure reliable operation of the engine during all flight phases.
- Validate with HIL prototyping the engine controller system.
- Develop and maintain hardware documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and manufacturing documentation.
What we'd love to see from you:
- Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems
