You will be responsible for the Control System design for Turbomachinery products used in energy production, transformation, recovery and decarbonization. You will have the opportunity to introduce new technology to enhance company profitability and productivity. You will be responsible for maintaining and incorporating new cost-effective solutions for design.
As a Lead Control System Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Defining Turbomachinery Control Systems architecture based on projects requirements and the application of International Standards (e.g. ATEX, CSA, NEC/NEMA, IECex)
- Defining the Package Control philosophy, based on internal standard and tailored for specific Customer needs.
- Collaborating with expert colleagues to the detailed control hardware and software design, by interacting with other engineering specialists, suppliers, Customers.
- Optimizing and simplifying the internal standard solutions and design tools, promoting and developing new ideas.
- Contribute to dedicated programs for New Product Development in the Energy Transition value chain such as decarbonization, carbon capture/utilization/sequestration, geothermal or hydrogen economy.

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have MSc. of Science in Control, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, Management or Computer Science Engineering.
- Be proficient in Control System design and related development tools; knowledge of industry codes and standards.
- Be familiar with PLC architectures, computer networks, industrial Safety principles.
- Have developed interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and motivate others.
- Be able and willing to travel worldwide up to 10% of the time for short customer meetings and/or site/test bed support
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
Would represent a plus:
- Have a proven working experience in an engineering position for Control design.
- Meaningful prior experience in an Energy Transition related business or industry
