About the role:
As the Lead Hydrogen Management Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, and managing the hydrogen storage and distribution architecture for a hydrogen-electric powertrain for business aircraft. You will ensure that all systems meet certification standards, market demands, and production requirements. This role requires a highly technical background in hydrogen systems engineering, with a strong focus on detail, safety, and precision.
Valuable member of the team your role will be:
3D Design and Modeling:
- Create and develop detailed 3D models of components and assemblies for the hydrogen storage and distribution system.
Technical Drawings:
- Produce accurate and detailed drawings for all hydrogen system components and assemblies, including those for the refueling station.
- Generate 2D drawings from P&IDs.
Component Management:
- Collaborate with the other Lead Engineers to create and manage BOMs for the 700-bar Type 4 storage system and other components in order to match other system interfaces.
Test Bench Design:
- Design and model test benches for the hydrogen management system (HMS Bench) and the hydrogen refueling system.
Adherence to Standards:
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety and certification standards (FAA Part 23, EASA CS 23).
About you:
- You have a strong experience in aerospace engineering, including over 8 years experience in mechanical sector.
- You haven proven expertise in hydrogen tank design, especially on 3DExp.
- You have good knowledge on hydrogen in general and you are able to bring technical skills to ensure team development.
- You are autonomous, curious, and a good team player.
- You are able to challenge existing process and your management in a spirit of continuous improvement.
- You have an experience in a multi-cultural environment and understand international diversity.
