We are looking for an enthusiastic Engineer for Flight dynamics and control in the Flight Physics and Simulations department to join our rapidly growing team.

The Engineer for Flight dynamics and control will perform flight simulations and analyses of vehicle dynamics, stability, control, and performance. He/she will support ground and flight tests, analyze data, and maintain databases. The role includes designing and optimizing control systems from a concept to integration, collaborating with various teams, and preparing necessary documentation.

What will your main scope be?

Perform flight simulation, vehicle dynamics, stability, control, trajectory, robustness, aerodynamic and performance analyses using internal, opensource and proprietary software.
Plan, perform and support control systems ground and flight tests, perform system identification, analyse data and maintain database.
Work on sizing, design, development and optimization of control system components and complete control systems in aircrafts from the conceptual phase to integration and entry into service.
Prepare design requirements, system specifications and interface documents, and work closely with other departments, company units and external partners to design and integrate the control systems into the overall design of the aircraft in the most optimal way.
Develop and maintain numerical and hardware tools needed to meet the task objectives.
Work on validation and verification of all software and hardware tools in use.
Contribute to research, development, production and in-service support domains.
Prepare the necessary documentation (simulation results, calculation procedures, test plans and reports, software documentation, project deliverables, certification and qualification documentation).

What do we expect from the candidate?

MSc degree in aerospace engineering.
At least 2 years of relevant work experience in the field of flight dynamics and control.
Relevant work experience with Matlab and Simulink.
Good understanding of flight mechanics and aircraft performance.
Strong interest in vehicle performance, trajectory optimizations, flight dynamics simulators and vehicle control.
Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills, precise and patient character.
Proactive and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
Strong ability to think out of the box.
Fluent English language skills.
