Are you ready to play a pivotal role in revolutionizing snack production? We’re looking for a Production Engineer to join our dynamic team at PepsiCo’s high-energy Bucharest Snacks Plant! If you have an engineering background, love efficiency, and have a knack for problem-solving, this is the place to be.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Coordinating production projects and ensuring compliance with quality standards;
  • Ensuring the achievement of performance indicators to meet established objectives;
  • Responsible for completing projects on time and within budget;
  • Ensuring adherence to safety and health standards, efficiency, productivity, quality, and food safety;
  • Coordinating teams under their supervision and handles employee training;
  • Participating in the preparation of the annual budget for the production department and ensures the fulfillment of established production volumes;
  • Ensuring and monitoring light maintenance activities carried out by operators on production lines;
  • Contributing solutions for process optimization and efficiency improvement, as well as for reducing water, energy, and raw material losses;
  • Holding regular meetings with representatives from the Production, Maintenance, and Quality departments to improve performance and reduce costs;
  • Ensuring compliance with the work schedule and the safe conduct of activities;
  • Preparing reports to inform superiors about production line performance and volume produced.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Completed higher education;
  • At least 3 years of experience in coordinating production processes (ideally in FMCG);
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of production machinery, automation, and operational flow;
  • PC operating skills (SAP, Microsoft Office);
  • Experience with QCDM working methods;
  • Medium level of English language proficiency;
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, communicate ideas, and present solutions clearly.

Location & work schedule

  • Location based: PepsiCo Snacks Plant - Popești-Leordeni;
  • The work schedule is in shifts (06:00-14:00; 14:00-22:00; 22:00-06:00), 5 working days with 2 days off.
