Senior Project Manager

Here’s what you’ll do:
Your day-to-day will include but not be limited to the following tasks and responsibilities:
- The role will cover the whole project lifecycle from initial inception, through the design and procurement process and onto the site delivery and commissioning phase.
- Work with other member of the project management team to successfully manage and deliver capital investment projects in education construction projects.
- Recent experience in project delivery of RIBA Stages 0 to 7 is required.
- Lead project management commissions taking overall responsibility for their successful delivery
- Liaise directly with clients, oversee project management team members with their duties
- Ensure commissions are managed to the right quality standards and are completed efficiently and on time
- Planning, directing and supervising all operations included in moderately sized projects with moderate risk, complexity and financial impact
- Have a passion for first class service deliver, implementing best practice and continuous improvement and promoting AECOM externally
- Supporting the development of proposal for new work
- Be specifically responsible for delegated business development/marketing objectives
- Sector experience/workload - School/educational construction projects
Qualifications
Here’s what we’re looking for:
As the successful candidate, you will have experience working within our project management markets along with having the following qualifications and experience.
- Post Graduate Qualification – ideally Project Management/Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying related
- In the process of pursuing Chartered Status with either of the following institutions; SCSI/RICS/CIOB/RIBA/EI
- APM affiliation is a benefit
