Avionics HW Integration Engineer

Working as part of the R&D team, and reporting to the Avionics Lead, the Hardware Integration Engineer will be responsible of the following:

Supporting the development/integration of the avionics architecture and introduction of new avionics hardware
Analyzing avionics components’ analog and digital interfaces
Liaising with avionics hardware manufacturers
Managing avionics hardware equipment configuration
Maintaining/Upgrading the avionics Hardware In the Loop test rigs
Conducting the integration tests on the avionics HIL test rigs
Supporting Avionics hardware integration and troubleshooting on the aircrafts, in the assembly line and the flight line
Preparing documents such as Test Plans, Test Reports, Interface Control Documents, Engineering Reports, Equipment Configuration Sheets.

A degree or equivalent in avionics, aeronautics or other relevant subject
Awareness of aviation environment including norms, standards, and certification requirements
Experience of avionics hardware including autopilot, navigation, and communication systems
Knowledges of standard digital interfaces such as CAN, RS-232, RS-485
Demonstrable experience in configuration, integration and test of avionics systems
Experience with system testing and troubleshooting on test rigs or on aircraft
Experience in using Microsoft and Google software suite applications
Good oral and written communication skills
