Job Description
Currently, we have an opening for a Program Manager to join the IP team in Brno, Czech Republic. Program Manager manages the development process of a company’s IP Blocks. He/she coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgrading existing IP’s. Program Manager is responsible for the project from initiation through delivery including planning, driving execution of schedules, and monitoring budget/spending ensuring on-time completion and within budget constraints.
Responsibilities
- You will closely cooperate with Technical Lead of the program;
- Your main duty will be to manage IP Development cycle: Definition => Plan => Development => Validation => Closure;
- Do you want to be responsible for the complete project? Perfect…You will represent team project to BU customers and report to management located in US;
- You will engage in the management, tracking, and reporting of day-to-day project activities;
- Creating and reviewing project plan including risk mitigation and effort/cost estimation will be among your responsibilities;
- Learning, developing, adopting and implementing new methods for continuous improvement will be a key expectation;
- Your everyday challenge will be to secure the timely execution of the project’s key milestones and deliverables;
- You will be also responsible for coordinating all logistics with: Fab, Pilot line, Assembly House, HW supplier.
Qualifications
- You should have master or bachelor university degree (university degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is an advantage);
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are in this role highly appreciated;
- In this role you will use your excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
- You need to have already an experience with project/program management;
- It will be great if you are a team player, results-oriented, open minded, willing to learn and apply new skills and concepts;
- Are you able to and willing to work later in the afternoons? That is great because it is needed for the communication with US time zone;
- You should have the knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word), and be familiar with collaboration (Wiki, Confluence) and ticketing (Jira) tools;
- We will be glad if you know basics of the semiconductor technology and/or ASIC development flow is an advantage.
