As a team member of „Electronic Engineering Applications & Testing“ department in Ostrava development center you will:

• Consultant for the selection of materials and technologies for PCB;
• Holds knowledge and experience regarding material properties and selection;
• Actively contribute to the work and strategy preparation of international VT ECAD team;
• Aligning design guidelines with management of automotive cross-functions (Operation, SQM, Category Purchasing);
• Networking and cooperation with internal and external partners (IPC, ZVEI, etc.);
• Support PCB sourcing;
• Identification of cost optimization for PCB materials;
• Identification of technological capabilities of strategic PCB suppliers;
• Participation in VT communities (materials, standards, Tech.net, etc.).

Qualifications:

• Master degree in Material Science or similar (physics, electrical or mechanical engineering);
• Advanced English;
• Knowledge of PCB materials;
• Knowledge of PCB technologies (HDI, thin circuit boards, RF, etc.);
• General knowledge of industrial technologies for population of PCBs;
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to take initiative and interact with cross functional and regional teams;
• Creative approach, analytical thinking, focus on detail;
• Experience in automotive engineering area is advantage.
