WHAT TO EXPECT:

As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Working full-time from our R&D Center in Legnica office, you will be reporting to a Senior Compound Process Development Engineer.

Your objective will be to help the team optimize existing mixing processes to improve efficiency and quality of the production of rubber products.

Acting primarily as an individual contributor, you will also serve as project leader by coordinating the work of various teams across the factory and the worldwide organization, ensuring deadlines are met and results are delivered.

Key responsibilities (to name a few):

  • Developing new methods for examining rubber raw materials and stocks and performing research on the processing of materials in further stages of production;
  • Creating and maintaining technical and quality documentation, entering and updating mixing cycles in a computer controlled mixing system;
  • Taking part in the work of the Global Process Compound Engineering Team and the Global Advanced Materials Development Team, supporting inquiries from other locations, including the acquisition and processing of technical data;
  • Providing local support by processing and reporting test results and process documentation.

ABOUT YOU

  • Master's degree in Engineering, ideally in the field of Polymer or Chemicals;
  • Previous experience in mixing and processing rubber compounds, studying mixing processes and root cause analysis;
  • Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to perform complex mathematical calculations, to collect and organize data and to prepare reports and recommendations based on those;
  • Ability to make the right decisions and justify them;
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve test equipment and/or procedural issues;
  • Knowledge of risk assessment principles, appropriate consideration of risk and ensuring the competitiveness of project plans;
  • Fluency in English.
