Job description

To excel as a Consultancy Services Manager, you will have to build your own customer base and personally choose highly qualified specialists for your projects. We expect you to be experienced in full-cycle recruiting and employment branding. You should have a sharp eye for talented people and a steady commitment to help them find success in our company. You should have strong client orientation and an ability to identify hidden opportunities that surprise our clients.

You will be accountable for your own profit centre with direct responsibility over the profit & loss balance.

Responsibilities Business Development & Client Management

  • In coordination with IDIADA's sales team, organize and attend meetings with clients to identify growth opportunities
  • Interact with technical and project teams to identify and generate growth opportunities
  • Respond to client’s request for quotations
  • Negotiate with client project details and service terms including price
  • Manage on-going service contracts
  • Evaluate and improve client satisfaction
  • Attend commercial/technical fairs to identify growth opportunities

Talent Acquisition & Development

  • Determine staffing needs and produce forecasts
  • Develop talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans
  • Lead employment branding initiatives
  • Perform sourcing to fill open positions and anticipate future needs
  • Plan and conduct complete recruitment and selection processes (interviews, screening calls etc.)
  • Agree with candidates salary and benefits packages within IDIADA policies.

People Management

  • Lead your own team of engineers of 10 to 30 staff
  • Manage your team to ensure positive employee experience
  • Assist in employee retention and development

Operations Management

  • Organize and/or attend career fairs, assessment centres or other events
  • Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement
  • Continuous assessment of achievement of the defined targets and strategic objectives
  • Analysis and management of the profit & loss account of your own profit centre

Requirements

Profile

  • Client orientation and know-how in business development area
  • Proven experience in automotive engineering service sector
  • Know-how in development, testing and certification of vehicles
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding
  • Understanding of all selection methods and techniques
  • Proficient in the use of social media and job boards (LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different technical roles.
  • Excellent communicator, convincing and pro-active
  • Leadership
  • Well-organized
  • Autonomous with the ability to manage your own priorities keeping a focus on the company’s interests
  • Initiative and motivation to reach planned & ambitious goals

Education

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering
  • Other degrees could be considered based on the value of the candidate

Languages

  • Italian speaker and fluent in English
