Then you might be the right candidate for this position as Department Manager for our Warranty Department.
As Department Manager you will lead our Warranty Department, consisting of 8 dedicated employees. You will be reporting to the General Manager, Service & Support and be a part of a dynamic management group in the division.
The Warranty Department is a part of our Generation Services Division, which supports our customers in operation and maintenance of Power Plants both during and after the warranty period. In addition to warranty processing, an important part of the Warranty Department’s work is to assist in the achievement of financial and qualitative goals for BWSC.
As Department Manager for Warranty your overall responsibility will be to lead the Department. This will include ensuring that the department remains engaged and delivers results and is properly manned and developed keeping high focus on closing any warranty claims soonest possible.
The position offers the right candidate to grow within business critical decision making, management and problem-solving where you also will function as sparring partner to the staff and the General Manager.
You have a mechanical or electrical engineering degree combined with relevant commercial and management experience or a financial background combined with a comprehensive technical understanding and a proven track record of delivering results under high pressure. It will be an advantage if you have experience with biomass, waste-to-energy plants or 4-stroke diesel engines and generators. You are able to communicate and report fluently in written and spoken English.
You have a flexible attitude and are prepared to travel, typically 30-40 days a year.
