The Energy market is impacted by a growing part of renewable energy, which, by nature, is intermittent and decentralized. Energy storage is a crucial tool for enabling the effective integration of renewable energy and unlocking the benefits of local generation and a clean, resilient energy supply.

In this context, after a task force study, CMI group have decided to entry in this energy storage market. CMI Energy Storage will offer development and engineering to supply advanced batteries and solutions through an EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction ) activity.

Principales responsabilités

  • Develop proposals, lead negotiations with customers to identify and agree on technical/commercial requirements and close on contracts for Storage projects, to meet Sales targets while complying with corporate guidelines for price/margin, schedule and design accuracy;
  • Develop sales opportunities and key accounts prior to proposal through presentations, qualification documents, pre-bid meetings and conferences with potential customers. Develop a personal network of contacts with key accounts;
  • Assisting in preparation and updating of business plan, sales strategy, forecasts and plans and defining market share information;
  • Identify, assess and recommend agents on the territory;
  • Identifying customer/market needs and suggesting product improvement initiatives through direct communication with customers and field sales representatives;
  • Coordinate and manage, with the assistance of the Proposal Engineer, all bid preparation and bid strategy activities including interaction with other departments to satisfy technical optimization, estimating, scheduling and risk management requirements;
  • Manage all communication with customers to prepare proposals and close contracts;
  • Direct Proposal Engineer to effectively and efficiently complete his/her responsibilities;
  • Supervise award acceptance, preparation of “as sold” contract documents and contract turnover activities to assure timely, complete and accurate transition of new orders to project team;
  • General assistance for development and maintenance of processes and standards and procedures that will assure consistent proposal execution;
  • Establishing and managing internal resource needs, meeting proposal schedules and work-flow in a cost efficient and effective manner, and for maintaining good working relationships with other departments;
  • Work with a high level of integrity in all customer and inter-company relationships.

Profile:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Commercial Engineer;
  • Minimum of ten (10) years experience in industry (power or capital goods) and Minimum five (5) years experience in a sales position in power or capital goods industry;
  • Willingness to understand technically the engineering principles and technical basics of th Storage technology;
  • Good understanding and control of International Projects Contract acquisition process (technical and commercial marketing, pre-acquisition development and lobbying, networking, leadership role for proposals and estimating, internal reporting, contractual and commercial negotiation…);
  • Excellent negotiations skills;
  • Available to travel frequently and on short notice (30-40%);
  • Good computer skills;
  • Foreign languages: Fluent English (mandatory).
