Reporting to the Manager of Machinery Engineering EMEA, this is a technical leadership position in the field of rotating equipment for process gases facilities (hydrocarbons, hydrogen, CO, ammonia, sulphur, CO2 and helium). You will play a critical role in the development of competitive proposals for new business opportunities and be the Lead Machinery Engineer on medium-large sized projects, leading 1-2 other engineers (as appropriate) to deliver the assigned project scope.
Types of equipment that you will work with are broad ranging and depend on the project scope; examples include centrifugal, reciprocating and screw compression, process pumps, cryogenic pumps, fans, gas turbines, steam turbines and associated auxiliary equipment.
The role will require international travel to suppliers and project sites. Approximately 25% of your time may be spent travelling with some extended durations at project job sites to support construction, commissioning and start-up of rotating equipment.
The role will be primarily focused on process gases facilities but may include air separation facilities depending on team workload.
