Engineering, Manufacturing 4.0 & Process Development Manager EMEA
The Engineering, Manufacturing 4.0 & Process Development EMEA manager is responsible for supporting strategic objectives by:
Leading the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency in the plants. Ensures the engineering team and other manufacturing departments work together cohesively. Being a Manufacturing Engineer Manager is responsible for the development of equipment, of digitalization and automation of this equipment to aid in the manufacturing process and product.
The development of new processes and products, ensure the improvement of industrial processes including the new technologies and manufacturing 4.0 implementation in all the plants EMEA.
In practice, the Engineering, Manufacturing 4.0 & Process Development EMEA Manager:
Leads the Innovation, Growth and Development pillar and deploys it in accordance with the WCM roadmap and pillar master plan in all the plants
Supports the definition and implementation of actions to improve the performance of industrial processes.
Is the guarantee of the technical relevance of the actions carried out by the development department in the context of continuous improvement projects: data analysis, automation, industry 4.0
Ensures the relevance of documentary changes as a result of process or product changes.
Sets the lines of work to improve process control, especially through instrumentation, monitoring and automation.
Coordinates process management and development projects, as well as the provision of adequate resources.
Pilot of development and industrial projects.
Proposes methods of analysis and appropriate measures in the context of CA/CP process issues.
Develops collaborations with various research and development centers of the Saint-Gobain group, as well as external structures, for the use of analytical tools and measurements or technical consultations.
Is the guarantor of project follow-up formalisms, in connection with the WCM manager and the Quality department of each plant and cross linked the projects between plants to make them at the same level
Ensures the quality of technical reports written in the context of projects or one-off actions of analyses and tests.
Based on the strategic axes defined by the operations director, coordinates the implementation of new product development industrial projects.
Coordinates the implementation of new product projects related to customer-specific demands.
Defines the lines of work for the development of new products in collaboration with the R&D team
Pilot of product development projects in industrial step.
Ensures the quality of technical reports written in the context of specific projects or actions related to customer requests
You have an industrial experience for at least 10 years, ideally gained in an international context.
