Mechanical Design Advance Lead Engineer

You will work on

  • Design assigned composite and metallic hardware with accordance to business standards, practices and procedures;
  • Perform necessary mechanical static and fatigue analysis of assigned composite and metallic parts with Customer requirements and all available supporting documentation;
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures;
  • Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers;
  • The ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning;
  • Identify problems and formulate solutions; take an innovative approach to problem solving;
  • Support build of prototype units;
  • Participation in testing and design validation;
  • Ensure on schedule submission of planned deliverables to external and internal customers;
  • Budget estimation needed to complete assigned tasks;
  • Monitor and communicate project status internally and externally for related activities;
  • Share technical knowledge within the group and across the organization;
  • Provide technical leadership & guidance to personnel supporting assigned project;
  • May lead a team or group within individual discipline.

What we expect from you?

  • MSC or BSC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent);
  • Experience relevant to indicated position areas of expertise and knowledge of related disciplines;
  • Experience in design of composite parts desired;
  • Experience in commercial CAD software required. NX desired;
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to guide and influence others;
  • Demonstrated team work and self-reliance in assigned tasks;
  • Ability to work under time pressure and with budget/resources constraints;
  • Ability to travel abroad and work with global team members across cultural boundaries;
  • Experience in mechanical analysis of composite or metal parts desired;
  • Demonstrated English language written and verbal communication skills;
  • Very good communication and presentation skills;
  • Responsible, team worker, target oriented;
  • Passion to learn;
  • Commitment to high standards of engineering excellence.
