Performs product and project presentations in coordination with sales and management;
Supports process specification negotiations;
Plans and performs system start-up in phase T2: Performs basic process/AMAT std. process verification;
Plans and performs system start-up in phase T3: Develops process according to customer specifications without supervision - reference processes are available;
Responsible for process parameter tool sign-off negotiations;
Drives process integration solutions under supervision;
Improves existing processes or troubleshooting of excursions on qualified processes;
Provides input to Business Unit for modification of existing product design;
Identifies Customer High Value Problem;
Identifies inflections, threats and opportunities for share and TAM growth;
Other duties as assigned, i.e. safeguard health & safety.
Job Specific Knowledge
Preferred: Previous Experience in hardware and/or process for Implant, Chemical mechanical Polishing or Metal Deposition;
Fluent in verbal and written English;
IC device knowledge.

The position requires extensive travelling (up to 70 % - depending of home location) in Germany and across Europe.
Bachelor or higher degree in a technical discipline like Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Applied Mechanics, Physics, Applied Physics, Solid State Physics, Microelectronic Engineering, Nanotechnology or related field;
Experience in Data analysis (JMP, SPC, MATLAB, Mathematica), Design of experiment (DOE) principles, Semiconductor processes (Thin Films, Diffusion, Planar, Implant, Litho, Etch, and/or Metrology.);
Preferred: 2-3 years Job experience in engineering (semiconductor equipment hardware service, design and/or process).
