Job description:

We are looking for 2 Plant Process Engineers Specialist - specialized in Mechatronics inside the Process Engineering Function for the BL Powertrain – Modugno Plant with the aim of:

  • Support the PM in aligning budget and resources needs and managing the specific project risks
  • Support Program Manager and Product Line Process Engineering (PLPE) in Offer and Initiative definition and Monitoring providing and continuously updating Industrial Cost and CAPEX
  • Support the PM in managing Product Change Requests and mitigating quality, cost and timing impact
  • Lead Plant Human Resources Needs sizing and Training Plan definition and implementation to support New Product launch Ramp-Up phase
  • Assure the manufacturability of new products working in strict collaboration with Product Development Teams applying DFX methodologies and tools
  • Create the Industrialization activities plan and keep it updated
  • Support Plant Teams in Product/Process Continuous Improvement activities during Mass Production phase
  • Support the deployment of standard Methodologies, Libraries, Tools and Solutions
  • Ensure the production traceability of components during Industrialization phase.

The candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Coordinate the Manufacturing Team activities and resources involved in the project (New Product Simultaneous Engineering, Industrialization and Launch Team)
  • Assure the implementation of Simultaneous Engineering leading the implementation of EEM/EPM, WPI activities and the achievement of the Industrial targets (Quality – Cost – Delivery)
  • Lead the assigned Industrialization and Launch Team in the definition, the implementation and the monitoring of New Product Industrialization and Launch Activities Plan Respecting the Customer Industrial Milestones
  • Plan project technical activities and staffing
  • Manage new products Manufacturing Simultaneous Engineering, industrialization and Launch activities through the supervision of the whole process from the concept to the early life of the production ensuring the best manufacturability and in the meanwhile assuring to achieve the target for the cost, quality and time to market
  • Satisfy Customer requirements and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with internal norms, procedures and Function guidelines
  • Guarantee achievement of objectives in terms of quality, costs and timing
  • Execute specific checklist activities to ensure the approval of the defined project gates
  • Track and submit reports on project progress on “Confluence” Tool
