About the role

Responsibility for the delivery of the Chassis Mechatronic systems, requirements against the Technical Concept Description and/or attribute catalogue. Also responsibility for the specification of these systems, and their integration into the vehicle architecture. Key responsivities include:

  • Support & Lead Design Development.
  • Delivery of Projects.
  • Problem Solving.
  • Development & maintaining specialist knowledge.
  • Ensuring effective communication with hardware, calibration and ECU owners.

About the person

The ideal candidate will be working in an Engineering, Manufacturing or Quality role, and looking for their next challenge. As a degree qualified engineer (or equivalent), you will have a good understanding of vehicle dynamic behaviour and good solid problem solving skills. Good business acumen and influencing skills are also an integral part of this role, helping you plan the effective system delivery against key milestones.

  • Experience of delivering mechatronic system functionality into series production.
  • Knowledge of test & measurement on vehicles & rigs.
  • Proficient understanding of PEP.
  • Experience of chassis functions to ISO26262
