Scope of the position

In the capacity of his discipline, reporting to the Project Construction Director is responsible for construction area input to the project during the implementation (EPC) phase of the Project.

Main Tasks:

  • Representing the technical aspects of the work during the construction in accordance with the contract, scope of facilities and scope of services.
  • Providing technical supervision, adhering to methods, procedures, standards, and quality control to meet the needs of the execution plan for the project.
  • Complying with applicable project specifications, regulations, standards and practices.
  • Ensuring timely review of supplier’s performance to meet contract turnaround.
  • Supporting the work of the site Q&A team, including the involved the 3rd party
  • Reviewing and appraising the EPC LSTK contractor quality plans, meeting appropriate hold and witness points on the contractor’s inspection and testing plans
  • Identifying adverse quality trends and determine root cause so as to prevent recurrence
  • Actively participating and witnessing inspection and testing activities in accordance to the EPC contractor inspection and test plans
  • Monitoring ongoing construction activities (such as welding and welding documentation, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, coating and linings, insulation and material receiving, as applicable) to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards and project specification requirements
  • Monitoring completion of documentation to support handover activities
  • Ensuring the EPC contractor implements requirements as per constructability, logistics, temporary facility, safety and quality requirements
  • Monitoring EPC contractor’s area construction site and temporary facility housekeeping

Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering;
  • Good engineering and project management skills;
  • Good analytical skills, creativity and flexibility, problem solving, assertive communication;
  • 5+ years of experience;
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office tools;
  • Advanced English knowledge;
  • Driving license;
  • International experience.
