SUMMARY OF ROLE

Lead a project team which is overall responsible for execution of System Assembly scope on projects. The project team is empowered to solve any issues to ensure iCenter Cluj meets customer expectations for projects, while managing the costs.

PRINCIPAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather all required inputs and resources, including HW design capabilities for System Assembly projects to start;
  • Participate in KOM and progress review meetings with the FSO project team;
  • Initiate internal KOM with the iCenter departments to ensure alignment of project details;
  • Develop, control and communicate to both the FSO and iCenter departments the cabinet assembly schedule;
  • Ensure project is shipped on time and according to customer requirements;
  • Follow up weekly on the cabinet BOM procurement plan;
  • Ensure project costing is up to date in Oracle and PMMT systems monthly before period end;
  • Informs FSO PM and/or Manager of Projects of any risks and opportunities on the project;
  • Keep data accurate in the project tracking system for POR requirements;
  • Ensure that all communication is polite, clear and using the optimum environment;
  • Solve project issues before they become problems;
  • Support/initiate the facilitation of problem solving;
  • Ensure project team always communicates solutions;
  • Proactively escalate issues to Manager Projects when issues threaten the project schedule;
  • Proactively follow up on project milestones internally and with FSO;
  • Perform regular progress reporting to the FSO project team and Manager Projects;
  • Organize factory acceptance tests (FATs) for end customers in the iCenter;
  • Ensure that all project requirements are adequately full filled;
  • Ensure that all processes for Export Compliance Management are adhered;
  • Manage the processes of the Quality Management System relevant to project execution;
  • Ensure quality of work according to procedures and standards;
  • Report corrective actions and ensure follow-up within the scope of the operational activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Engineering, Management or suitable equivalent;
  • Experience in project management in electronic/automation industry, preferred;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Computer literate;
  • Knowledge of Project Life Cycle and Project Fundamental Proprieties;
  • Advanced verbal and written English or other European language;
  • Highly motivated and very well organized/Working experience within remote teams beneficial;
  • Good understanding of business processes, trade compliance aspects.
