E-motor Test Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of electric motor and component tests, instrumentation, programming of test cycles;
  • Commissioning of tests;
  • Failure analysis;
  • Working level relations with client;
  • Documentation and reporting of results in English;
  • Participation in internal and external technical discussions by email, phone and videoconferences;
  • Continuous optimization of test procedures, tools and operation.

Requirements

Profile

  • Interest in automotive topics, especially in electric and hybrid vehicles;
  • Knowledge in electric motors and power electronics;
  • Good understanding in control theory, adjustment of PID controls;
  • Understanding of software tools for setup, measurement and monitoring of test runs;
  • Analytic and repair skills (problem solver mentality), technical curiosity;
  • Apreciated, but not mandatory: experience in operation of test benches, eperience in instrumentation for torque, speed and temperature measurements, knowledge in of CANalyzer, INCA or other data analyzing tools

Education

  • Degree in electrical or electronic engineering, robotics, automation or similar.

Languages

  • English: B2;
  • Other languages appreciated.
