Your work begins in the tender phase: in a team of engineers, planners and cost estimators, you will create designs for dykes, harbours, coastal and shore work as well as land reclamation, and translate these designs into the best bid and the most efficient execution. Your solutions are smart, cost-effective and feasible, partly because you are making full use of the knowledge and practical experience of your fellow engineers. You make sure your chosen solution continues to meet the client's requirements during execution. This is an interesting and educational role, in which your knowledge and ingenuity will be called on from the drawing board in Rotterdam to our project site in Den Oever.
You are keen to learn all about high-quality tenders and project execution in a wet environment. With an eye for the client's wishes, you employ your analytical skills and your flexibility in order to deliver top quality. You work carefully, preferring to do one calculation too many rather than one too few! You are able to work independently but do not hesitate to call on your colleagues for help.
