Power electronics of traction drives in advanced engineering projects;
Develop architectures for power electronics and electric powertrains;
Concepts for improved integration of power electronic and motor;
Support simulation projects for electric and hybrid electric vehicles;
Evaluation if innovative power electronics concepts;
Support technology and system aspects business units in customer meetings;
Write specification and realization of projects with external service providers;
Quality assurance, interpretation and documentation of projects results;
Elaboration of compelling reports and presentations as well internal and external reporting to project review board and customers on a regular basis;
Active contribution to new project proposals based on knowledge and interpretation of future customer requirements, legislation and market trends as well as system analysis of future electric propulsion technology and powertrain topologies.
Master degree (optional PHD) in electrical/automotive engineering, aerospace technology or related;
Profound knowledge and experience in system or product development of power electronics for electric mobility;
Experience with power electronics architectures
Experience in vehicle or motor controls welcome.
Expert knowledge in typical automotive development and simulation tools for power electronics, especially ASPICE, V-Modell and ISO26262
Very good understanding and system overview of electrified powertrain topologies
