Lead the C&I Discipline and community, ensuring that fit for purpose standards and designs are applied;
Ensure, within discipline realm, that OMV’s facilities are designed, engineered and constructed in accordance with OMV’s approved codes and standards and legal requirements across OMV Upstream, by interfacing with all C&I engineers within C&I Skill Pool as well as participating in Peer Reviews, Risk Workshops, HAZOPs, etc. as TA1;
To ensure that OMV’s facilities, in particular on C&I area of concern, are operated and maintained to achieve optimum efficiency and minimum downtime;
To provide technical support to other OMV departments, Business Offices or projects with emphasis on relevant discipline;
Leading role (owner) in updating and maintenance of OMV Standards with regards to relevant discipline (C&I). Review and approval of deviations to said technical standards;
Provide detailed engineering input during all design phases, including interpretation and challenge of standards;
Actively communicate with other disciplines to optimize areas of interface, during the design development, review and check processes;
Lead technical reviews, HAZID/HAZOP studies, formal Peer and Risk Reviews, Project Safety Reviews and Operations Bench-marking exercises.
University Degree Masters/Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or similar subject;
Minimum of 15 years related industry experience;
Extensive experience in C&I discipline with Upstream Oil & Gas projects and operations, including offshore experience;
Industry leader level knowledge on Control Systems, Safety Implemented Systems, HAZOP, LOPA, SIL, metering, field devices, ATEX and IT/OT Security Topics;
Willing to travel to foreign countries in which OMV has or might have a presence along with the ability to work in an international, multi-cultural environment;
Fluent in English, German language capability preferred.
