Description of the job

Within the development design group, you will be in charge of:

  • The qualification of cabin equipment (galleys, furniture, seats) and cabin semi-equipment (latches, rotative mechanisms, shock-absorbers);
  • The certification of cabin/cockpit modifications;
  • The after-sales support of group activities.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main activities will include:

  • Preparing equipment specifications (general specifications and customised specifications);
  • Carrying out “S000” specification plans for semi-equipment;
  • Preparing modification files;
  • Following up the qualifications of cabin, galleys, seats and furniture equipment You will participate in the selection of the supplier and technical solutions, the validation of qualification dossiers, the coordination with other Engineering functions (loads, W&B, structure, system, certification), flight tests and FEE approval;
  • Certifying improvement modifications of the cabin and integrating equipment and systems (certification plan, justification notes, coordinating with other Engineering functions);
  • Analysing EWIS impacts of modifications and producing the justifications;
  • Providing after-sales support for the cabin, system integration and exterior paint;
  • Following up and updating ATA 25 CMM, paint and outer marking, electrical installation;
  • Being in charge of continued airworthiness for ATA 25, system installation and electrical routing.

Required skills

As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate some of the following competencies & skills:

  • Engineering degree, ideally specialising in Aeronautics;
  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar context;
  • Knowledge in ATA 25 (cabin/cockpit interiors): stress, aeronautical equipment certification;
  • Proficiency with Gilda, CRM, ATR documentation;
  • Catia V5 and Patran/Nastran would be a plus;
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with various interfaces;
  • Ability to solve problems;
  • Dynamic;
  • Reliable;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Coordination ability;
  • English, French and Italian: negotiation level.
